Broadway Heritage plc is a property development company dedicated to the provision of high quality homes, through the construction and rehabilitation of beautiful buildings.

 

Broadway Heritage provides ‘beautiful homes in stunning locations’. The company focuses on apartments which are meticulously designed to appeal to a range of discerning purchasers, from young professionals, through to older purchasers, taking the opportunity later in life to upgrade the specification and environment of their homes.

 

Developments are a mixture of new build, and the restoration and reconfiguration of older properties of significant historical or architectural interest.

 

Broadway Heritage Managing Director, Michael Hodges, is the visionary behind the business.

 

 

MICHAEL HODGES MRICS

Michael Hodges was born in 1955. He is married with five daughters and lives in Hertfordshire.

 

He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

 

Current responsibilities include Directorships of his own residential property development company Broadway Heritage Plc (www.broadwayplc.com) and his own construction company Hill Farm Secruities Plc (www.hillfarmsecurities.com). Voluntary appointments include Directorships of Aldwickbury School (www.aldwickbury.org.uk), St. Martin in the Fields Buildings Renewal Project Ltd. (www.stmartin-in-the-fields.org), and Chairmanships of Christians in Property (www.christiansinproperty.org) and the Moggerhanger House Preservation Trust (www.the-park.net.mhpt).

 

Michael Hodges is passionate about the creation of new homes that work for people in the 21st century. He is also dedicated to the restoration of old buildings which have more to give. Michael’s companies Broadway Heritage Plc and Hill Farm Securities Plc focus on development and construction and share a common focus on the creation of ‘Beautiful homes in stunning locations’.

 

New schemes completed include The Elms, Houghton: a restored Victorian mansion, coach house and 4 new elegant and sympathetically constructed apartment buildings in mature gardens; Ascot Place: fourteen luxurious apartments with views across the world-famous racecourse and Pittville Place: sixteen apartments overlooking the Grade 2 listed Pittville Park in Cheltenham. Restorations include the Grade 1 listed former Chesterfield Hotel – now two stunning meticulously finished six storey family residences in Bath’s Great Pulteney Street and the Grade 2 listed Brompton House Hotel, Bath – now seven high quality apartments.

 

Michael’s skills in restoration have also been put to good use as a non-executive director at the Grade 1 Listed Moggerhanger House in Bedfordshire, a £7m restoration; and the Grade 1 Listed St. Martin in the Fields in Trafalgar Square, London which has been restored at a cost of £37m.  Michael has also overseen two significant extensions to a former Victorian mansion.
